On August 14, Columbus mover E. E. Ward Moving & Storage will be hosting Laps for Lunches, an event dedicated to combatting food insecurity in Franklin County. The event will feature a meet and greet with NASCAR Xfinity driver, Dakoda Armstrong, and a Richard Petty Motorsports show car.
Earlier this year, E. E. Ward Moving & Storage and North American Van Lines relocated the Richard Petty Motorsports garage from Concord, North Carolina to Mooresville, North Carolina. Following the successful move, E. E. Ward and North American were named the official moving partners for Richard Petty Motorsports 2015-2016 race season.
E. E. Ward president, Brian Brooks, declared the relocation “the project of a lifetime.” As part of the sponsorship, E. E. Ward’s logo was placed on the deck lid of Dakoda Armstrong’s No. 43 Winfield during the Hisense 300 in Raleigh, North Carolina this past Memorial Day weekend. Brooks, accompanied by his wife, Dominique Rieghard, and E. E. Ward driver, Jason Carpenter, attended the race and met the King of NASCAR, Richard Petty.
The No. 43 show car will be on display at Grand Prix Karting on August 14 at the Laps for Lunches event. All proceeds from the event will be donated to food provision efforts in Franklin county.
